New Creation Wednesdays

Today you get to meet Alana.  An asymmetrical turquoise addition that is inspired by my Egyptian heritage when it comes to its colors.  Perfect to layer with a short/long silver or gold chain if you want to add more chunk to your look.  What do you think?

Jewelry Tip - Storage

Did you know the best way to store your jewelry is in a zip baggie/air tight container?  Many of my customers ask how they can prevent their favorite pieces from tarnishing and were surprised with my answer.  Even the most prestigious precious jewelry brands store it that way.  Exposure to air and all the chemicals within it is what causes the change in color and it can turn reddish or greenish color depending on the original metal.  That is why I love using semi precious material like gold filled and silver filled because It is not easily effected by this like other costume jewelry.  That is also why each one of your ordered pieces is packed individually in a tight zip bag.  Now you know why I do what I do :-)

New Creation Wednesdays

What a crazy day I tell you! The good news is, new creation Wednesdays are still on.  Had to add a new variation to my Swarovski crystal pearl because everyone loved the first one so much. How do you like this colorblocked piece combining jade, coral/dark powder pink and cream pearls?

How do YOU wear your whites?

I love wearing white all year round, why? It is timeless and easy to pair with just about anything and gives this instant chic edge. With that being said, sometimes it can look too plain. So how can you take this plain white shirt into new heights? Easy. ACCESSORIZE ACCESSORIZE ACCESSORIZE.  Here are some tips and pairings to try.

What's Trending in Jewelry?

Part of my job is to stay on top of what's the latest and greatest in the fashion jewelry industry.  At the Las Vegas tradeshow, they asked one of the top leaders in the industry to sum up what's trending  today.   “Chunky jewelry, heavy gold, big stones.… It’s like ‘Dynasty’ all over again!” said New York-based jewelry designer Amedeo Scognamiglio. Be sure to check out my whole line to find all that is trending, but here's a few examples.

All you need is one piece - a dress

For those who know me, they know my obsession with dresses. Why? It is a simple one piece solution where no matching is required (other than shoes & accessories) but guarantees a stylish edge no matter what. Here's a timeless white and black dress that I recently came across and fell in love with.  What do you think?
