Affordable Looks for the Everyday Fashionista

Can you believe it is November already! So many things to do. I hope you have your holiday list ready as the countdowns have already begun. I love the holidays because you get to see family you haven't seen in month and even years. Also, the joy of getting a box of surprises to unwrap, but then there's one problem. What do you wear to these home based holiday events? You don't have to sacrifice your sense of style or trade in your heels for flats. All November long, I will be posting outfit ideas you can try at your next holiday event. Here's your first look! A simple tunic dress that can be paired with tights paired with these low-medium heeled booties. Chic yet comfy to stay in all day long. Would you wear this?

This weekend, I got to execute a color combination that I have been wanting to do for a long time but never found the perfect components. I finally found the perfect sized quartz nuggets and turquoise beads. I love the way it turned out and wore it that day to my first broadway show! This piece can pass for a modern piece because of its vibrant color combination or vintage piece because of its 2 link dark silver endbars. The quartz depending can give off a light-med brownish color or grey depending on what you wear. Simply, an ultra versatile piece.

Love black and white? So do I! This timeless color trend is bigger than ever this Fall/Winter 2013 season along with the floral prints. Try something like these super cute Forever 21 pants with a white essential plain blouse topped off with this colorblocked handmade gemstone Jozey necklace. Don't forget your ankle strap flats or pumps!

Today you get to meet Alana.  An asymmetrical turquoise addition that is inspired by my Egyptian heritage when it comes to its colors.  Perfect to layer with a short/long silver or gold chain if you want to add more chunk to your look.  What do you think?
